Job Summary
We are looking for a Safety Executive / Officer to ensure a safe working environment by implementing safety policies, conducting site inspections, and promoting a strong safety culture across projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor HSE policies at site/project locations
- Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments
- Ensure compliance with statutory safety regulations and company standards
- Organize safety inductions, toolbox talks, and training programs
- Investigate accidents/incidents and prepare detailed reports
- Maintain safety records, permits, and documentation
- Ensure proper use of PPE by all workers and staff
- Coordinate with project managers and engineers on safety matters
- Identify hazards and recommend corrective actions
- Promote awareness of safety practices among employees
Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in Safety, Engineering, or related field
- 1–5 years experience in construction / infrastructure / industrial projects
- Knowledge of HSE standards and local safety regulations
- Good communication and reporting skills
- Ability to work on site and handle safety compliance independently
- Safety certification (NEBOSH / IOSH preferred)
